Mississippi Recount Laws

This information was initially released on October 21, 2010. As of our most recent update (October 2010), we did not find any statutory authority for recounts of any kind in Mississippi.

Rules for Determining Voter Intent: 

Statutory guidance provided Mississippi statutes contain specific instructions on determining voter intent for punch card ballots.
